Every production step of an order gets its own indicator in the traffic-light scheme. Alongside it, the order status runs in real time. The data comes via MQTT; alternatively you can connect OPC UA, Siemens S7, Azure Event & IoT Hub, Werma, Beckhoff Automation, Rockwell Automation or MT Connect.

How does the board show the status of production steps?

Each production step is shown in the typical traffic-light colour scheme – a glance at the red light instantly shows if and where there's a problem.

What data source does this Andon board use?

MQTT in the example. Other machine-level connections work just as well, such as OPC UA, Siemens S7, Azure Event & IoT Hub, Werma, Mitsubishi Electric, Beckhoff Automation, Bosch IoT Gateway, Rockwell Automation, or MT Connect.

Is the order status also displayed?

Yes, the overall order status is tracked in real time alongside the individual production steps.
