Coordinating Warehouse Areas with a Commissioning Board
The commissioning board for worker coordination from Peakboard shows, as a target-actual comparison, where the operators in each warehouse area stand on their orders and where they should be at this point in the day. Anyone who sees that an area needs support can move there on their own initiative.
- Up and running fast
- Low IT effort

When picking across several warehouse areas
– without Peakboard
How far a warehouse area has gotten is known only to the people working there.
Where support is needed has to be assigned by a supervisor.
Whoever finishes early waits – while another area is falling behind.
Do it better
with Peakboard
- The board shows a target-actual comparison of the orders for each warehouse area.
- That makes it clear where support is needed right now.
- Operators move to the area that's falling behind on their own initiative.
- In the example, the data comes from SAP – a WMS and other systems work just as well.

Connect over 100 data sources. No integration project needed.
Native SAP connector, OPC UA, MQTT, and dozens of other sources are available out-of-the-box. You just connect, instead of integrating – and the data appears directly at the shop floor.

For each warehouse area, the actual state of the orders sits next to the target for that point in the day. In the example, the data comes from an SAP system, with further processing happening directly in Peakboard. A WMS or other logistics software works just as well – Oracle NetSuite, PSIwms, Erhardt + Partner LFS, IBM Sterling WMS, Epicor WMS, JDA WMS, Fishbowl Inventory, or SSI Schäfer WAMAS, for instance.
How does the target-actual comparison per area work?
For each warehouse area, the dashboard shows where staff stand in completing their orders and where they should be according to the daily target.
How do staff decide where to help out?
They see directly on the dashboard which areas are behind target and move there independently to support colleagues.
What data source does the dashboard use?
A SAP system by default. Alternatively, you can also connect other WMS systems such as Oracle NetSuite, PSIwms, Erhardt + Partner LFS, IBM Sterling WMS, Epicor WMS, JDA WMS, Fishbowl Inventory, or SSI Schäfer WAMAS.
Can I customize the dashboard myself, without IT?
Yes. Peakboard is a low-code platform: you change warehouse areas, metrics, and layout by drag-and-drop in the Peakboard Designer.
Does the dashboard run on-premises or in the cloud?
Peakboard runs entirely on-premises on your own network – warehouse data never leaves your company. There's no cloud requirement, no single point of failure, and you keep full control over your infrastructure.
