The order list runs on a touchscreen right in production. Over MQTT, every order is transmitted in real time to a receiving display in intralogistics, where it can be processed.
How do I order missing parts via the order list?
Your worker selects the needed part on the touchscreen and sends the order at the push of a button. The request goes to intralogistics instantly via MQTT.
How does the order list communicate with intralogistics?
Communication runs via MQTT between the screens in production and the warehouse. Alternatively, the order can also be written to a database, such as ODBC, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Do I need a second display in intralogistics?
For the full solution, a second display that receives and shows incoming orders is recommended. The order list itself already works standalone as a push-button reporting system.
Can I customize the order list myself, without IT?
Yes. Peakboard is a low-code platform: you change the parts list, layout, and MQTT connection by drag-and-drop in the Peakboard Designer.
Does the order list run on-premises or in the cloud?
Peakboard runs entirely on-premises on your own network – order data never leaves your company. There's no cloud requirement, no single point of failure, and you keep full control over your infrastructure.
